Machining
Wieland Lone Star provides machined aluminum-bronze solutions entirely in-house, ensuring every part leaving our Kilgore, Texas facility meets tolerance and performance demands for aerospace, industrial, and high-reliability applications.
In-House Machining: Accuracy and Consistency Built In
All products from Wieland Lone Star are machined before shipment, giving you superior starting material that saves our customers time and cost:
- Rough cylinder and near-net shapes — Supplied with controlled stock allowance for your final dimensions, using conventional turret lathes for efficient, reliable roughing and sizing.
- More complex shapes (e.g., flanged bushings, bearings, sleeves) — Start with turret lathe rough machining to establish geometry, followed by CNC machining to create semi-finished part blanks with precise stock remaining on all surfaces.
Our CNC-machined part blanks stand out with:
- High degree of dimensional accuracy
- Exceptional part-to-part consistency
- Superior roundness and concentricity
Our precision machining capabilities are designed to accelerate throughput and improve efficiency in your operation. We deliver semi-finished components with tightly controlled dimensional tolerances, superior roundness, and high concentricity that reduce setup time, minimize secondary preparation, and enable more consistent, streamlined final machining.
